Bio: Cristina joined Generali GC&C within the Client & Broker Relationship Management team in order to manage the relationship with top international brokers and be the go-to person for their needs at a global level.
Cristina has a 20 years’ experience in the insurance industry.
Before joining Generali she spent 6 years in AIG Europe as a Line Manager for Affinity and large Loyalty programs, and earlier as a Personal Lines Underwriting Manager.
Previously Cristina worked in the Zurich Group as a Personal Lines underwriter and Product Development Specialist for consumer products.
From 2002 to 2005 she also worked as a broker for Assiteca Group handling a portfolio of multinational out-going clients.
In 2004 Cristina passed the national examination as a broker and was officially enrolled in the national register of insurance intermediaries at IVASS.
Cristina has a degree in Foreign Languages and speaks fluent English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian as her mother tongue.
Bio: Fabrizio is part of the Global Corporate and Commercial Business, managing the relationship with Global Brokers ensuring both on a global and local basis the broker’s strategy execution and sales efficiency.
He has more than 25 years’ experience within the insurance industr: he joined Generali in 2014 and before that he spent 7 years at UnipolSai. Before that, he worked in Marsh.
Throughout his professional experiences in the insurance industry he has been in charge of Business Development roles in the Bancassurance and Affinity Groups segments. He started his career with a long experience in the Brokerage industry, having worked with Marsh covering several positions in Sales Development and Account Management, Multinational Programs, Employee Benefits.
He graduated in Business and Administration, is married with one child and speaks three languages.
She joined Assicurazioni Generali in 1989, and was Gerente of Genova's Agenzia Generale from 2008 to 2013. She has covered several roles, counting Head of Marine&Transport at GC&C Italy and from 2014 to 2018 she has been GC&C I Head of Client&Broker Relationship Management funcition.
Simona gradudated at Università degli Studi di Milano.
Bio: Filippo represents Generali Global Corporate & Commercial, managing the sales and distribution performance and coordinating the overall relationship with Clients and top Brokers at global level.
He has more than 25 years’ experience within the insurance industry, being a part of Generali in 2013.
Before Generali, he spent 8 years within ZURICH Group and previously worked for XL Insurance and Caterpillar, and more than 9 years (from 1990 to 1999) experience within the Brokerage industry, having worked with Johnson & Higgins and Marsh. He started his career as P/C Underwriter with Allianz in Milan (Italy).
He is a Doctor in Law, married with one child, speaks four languages and is a former semi-professional basketball player.
Bio: James joined Generali in October 2014 to become Head Client and Distribution and a member of the GC&C UK Management Team. Managing key relationships with the strategic brokers and raising the company profile in the UK and International markets.
He is responsible for delivering GC&C UK strategy whilst aligning our strategic brokers. Delivering profitable growth and strong retention across multiple product Lines. Implementation and execution of the UK client management strategy and continued focus around Mid to Upper corporate business. James also oversees the distribution for the UK regions and the Nordics.
Prior to Generali James spent 10 years at Travelers Insurance Company, where he held various roles and the most recent being London Development Manager responsible for the execution of the UK sales strategies. He was responsible for leading the London sales strategy and developing key broker relationships.
Graduated in 1999 from City University with a BA Marketing degree.
His professional career has been closely linked to international insurance companies, such as AIG, MARSH and ACE European group, where he has develop different roles, both technical, as FL manager and commercial as Head of Distribution.
In 2014 he joined Generali Global Corporate & Commercial as Head of Clients & Brokers, for implementing the commercial strategy and developing business and long term relationships with clients and brokers
Jose Mª Conde-Salazar is 47 years old, is an MBA by Instituto de Empresa, and Degree in Business Administration.
Bio: Sabrina Di Giorgio currently serves as Head of Communication & Corporate Social Responsibility Global Business Lines in charge of devising and implementing the global integrated communication and corporate social responsibility strategy and activities for Generali Global Corporate &Commercial and Generali Employee Benefits.
Prior to this, from 2015 to 2019 she was Chief Marketing & Communication Officer of Generali Global Corporate & Commercial, the business unit of the Generali Group that develops the P&C business and insurance services for medium and large companies operating in Europe, Asia and the Americas. From 2008 to 2015, she was in charge of the start up and the integrated marketing communications for the Asia Regional Office of the Generali Group in Hong Kong.
Sabrina holds a Master of Arts degree cum Laude in Political Science - International Studies and European Studies from LUISS University in Rome and a Certificate in Best Practices for Global Companies and the internationalization of enterprises from the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance (Italian Trade Commission- Superior School of Economics and Finance) in 2006. She completed the Strategic Marketing Management Certificate at Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2014.
Since 2019 she is a Marshall Memorial Fellow, after being awarded the Marshall Memorial Fellowship (MMF) by the German Marshall Fund (GMF)of the United States for GMF’s flagship leadership development program in Washington DC-USA.
Bio: Gianluca Fenu supports Generali GC&C’s growth in construction and green energy, looking at strategic planning and investment opportunities in these sectors. He is also responsible for Client & Broker Relationship Management in the GC&C Central Team, with particular focus on the global relationship with Gallagher.
He joined GC&C in the Milan office in 2022, after an extensive period spent living overseas. His previous role was in the Asia Pacific region, where he was part of the commercial team at the largest Australian independent energy company. He has experience in business development, strategy, M&A, economic and investment analysis.
He graduated in Economics and Business Management from the University of Cagliari and in International Business from the University of Melbourne.
Ha iniziato il suo percorso in Generali nel 2005 presso l’Agenzia Generale di Milano, nel 2013 è entrato a far parte come “broker manager” della business unit GC&CI dove dal 2018 al 2021 ha ricoperto anche il ruolo di Head of Sales. Laureato in Scienze della Comunicazione all’Università degli Studi di Verona, si occupa quindi fin dall’inizio della sua carriera della gestione di grandi broker e clienti.
He joined the Generali Group in 1993. His professional career has been closely linked to the development of the Generali Group, in particular involved in Generali’s processes operations such us Banco Vitalicio to Vitalicio Seguros, the merger with Estrella and subsequent creation of the Generali Group in Spain.
In 2013 he was appointed Head of Generali Global Corporate & Commercial (GC&C) for Spain creating and ongoing expasión into a region to become Iberia & Latam in 2018. A long professional career based on transversal competences in the group as well as technical and managerial capabilities in all its breadth.
Carlos Gómez is 53 years old, is an Industrial Engineer with a specialization in Mechanics from the University of Valencia.
I started my professional experience in Facultative Reinsurance department and then after 6 years I moved to Multinational Programs unit where I had chance to enhance technical knowledge as well as people management skills.
Bio: Ilya Kolmogorov has ca. 20 years of experience in global corporate and commercial insurance.
Originally from Russia, he hold Masters in Business Mathematics from his home country, as well as degree in Business and Finance from Germany.
His insurance career started with Allianz in Munich, Germany. He has experience working in European market (Germany, Italy) as well as in the USA. During his career he has been holding various management roles, mainly actuarial.
Currently Ilya holds a position of the Head of Technical Excellence with Generali Global Corporate & Commercial and is based in Milan, Italy.
Ilya has an executive MBA from the European School of Management and Technology (ESMT), Berlin, Germany.
Ilya is a qualified non-life actuary of the German Actuarial society (DAV).
He speaks 3 languages and tries to conquer the forth one (Italian), so far without much success.
When he is not working he enjoys a good food, good wine and a good laugh.
Bio: Peter started his career as in the London Market in 1989, he has held numerous underwriting roles, in the both the Lloyd’s and Company market, as well as having a small stint broking at Marsh.
He is currently Chief Underwriting Officer of Generali Global Corporate and Commercial’s UK operation, responsible for around 50 staff generating approximately €500m business.
Bio: Dan joined Generali three years ago as a Senior Property Underwriter and has excess twenty years’ experience of the London property market from both underwriting and broking perspective.
Dan’s background spans International and UK mid and large multinational programs across numerous industry sectors. He also has experience of working with the Nordic Markets.
Bio: Hayden leads the insurance function at GC&C, which includes underwriting, claims, loss prevention / risk engineering and Technical Excellence teams, and is responsible for the business’ profitability.
Hayden has over thirty years underwriting experience working for large insurance companies, in multiple markets globally, having lived and worked in Africa, Asia, the Middle East and currently in Europe.
Hayden’s insurance interests include a passion for driving innovation into the organisational technical processes, and to further pursue his passion, he complimented his business studies with a Masters (MA) in Leading Innovation and change from York St Johns University in the UK.
Hayden is married to Penelope Seach, also of the insurance industry, who is herself the Chief Underwriting Officer for Zurich EMEA. They have three daughters who live in Australia and South Africa.
Bio: Ferenc has a 29-year experience in the insurance industry. He started his career in the insurance sector twenty-five years ago at Generali Hungary.
Ferenc is the Country Head of GC&C Hungary and Director of the Corporate Business Unit (GC&C plus Motor Fleets and Employee Benefit) in Hungary. Simultaneously with his local assignment he has a role as Client and Broker Relationship Management Officer in the CEE Region (Following countries are included: Poland, Czech Rep., Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Slovenia).
Ferenc has been working in the Corporate and Commercial sector from the beginning, he started his career as P/C underwriter, and he was responsible for Clients and Brokers from the German-speaking area (Germany, Austria and Switzerland).
Three years later he was appointed to Head of International Corporate Clients Department, in this position he was in charge of industrial insurances of multinational companies located in Hungary. He also was also responsible for the cooperation of global and regional brokers.
In 2006 he became the Director of the whole Corporate Department which has included the Corporate and Commercial P/C and Employee Benefit underwriting, back office and sales in its hand.
Ferenc has studied economics (finance) at Budapest, later he attended the University of Innsbruck (Austria) specialized in philosophy.
He has two daughters, and his hobby is wine (has a degree from the International Wine Academy in Rust, Austria) and olive oil.
Bio: Alessandro is responsible for Client & Broker Relationship Management Team in GC&C Central Team, with a specific focus on the relationship with Howden.
He joined Generali in 2018 and since then he has been working on the global coordination of GC&C NPS Global Community for 7 markets, supporting the definition of GC&C 2022-24 Strategic Plan, GC&C Executive Committee Technical Secretariat (GC&C CEO, GC&C Heads of Country and GC&C Heads of Department) and he worked as PMO of Client & Distribution Management Department key projects.
He graduated in Service Management from the Copenhagen Business School and speaks three languages. Alessandro is also a basketball player.
Bio: Stewart’s underwriting career began in London in the year 2000. In that time, he has continued to operate in the global corporate property sector having previously worked at Allianz, RSA, Zurich.
After a brief experience in the banking sector, she has started working as Insurance professional in 2005, holding positions in two major multinational insurance companies.
She joined Generali in 2014 in the Multinational Programs & Network Management Central Team where she is still working Today, overseeing the Network.
She likes supporting the colleagues in driving the Multinational Business and working with people from all around the world.
Bio: Antonio is GC&C Head of Multinational Programs & Network Management, leading a global team of more than 50 people, distributed across 15 countries, holding this position since 2013.
He started his career in Generali in the Multinational Program business area and then moved to Generali UK Branch in 2008 as Global Property Underwriter in London.
His areas of interest are the ones of Multinational Business and the implied fascinating challenges that come along with it such as global risk management, compliance and taxation, cross culture implications, global operating model and execution.
In 1997 Antonio graduated in Economics at Ca’ Foscari University in Venice, and then gained the Consob (Commissione Nazionale per le Società e la Borsa) qualification as Financial advisor. Furthermore he obtained the Insurance and Risk Management’s Master Degree from MIB School of Management in Trieste.
He was born in Venice, the city of the Winged Lion, the iconic Generali’s token, where he’s worked for his entire professional career and is still working today. He likes to see it not as a coincidence!
